Crown Electric is a licensed, owner-operated electrical contractor serving Clark County, WA since 2014 — full-service residential and commercial electricians who show up when we say we will. Founded by licensed electrician Nathan Henifin, we've grown from a one-man operation into a multi-crew team trusted by homeowners, builders, and property managers across the county.
Crown Electric started the way a lot of good trades businesses do: one licensed electrician determined to do the work right. In the early years we worked out of a rented space and took on whatever came our way — service calls, remodels, and new construction — building a reputation one job at a time.
As the company grew, we reinvested in it. We bought our own piece of property and, during COVID, built our own shop — pushing the project through even when lumber jumped $35,000 the first day of construction. Today we run the business out of that building in the Orchards area of Vancouver, with multiple crews on the road across Clark County.
Owner Nathan Henifin is hands-on and runs the company on one principle above all: reliability. "If we say we're showing up, we're showing up" is how he puts it. Every job is tracked and color-coded so nothing slips — jobs that need watching get checked a week out, and the tight ones get checked daily. In a trade where missed schedules are the norm, that dependability is the number-one reason builders and homeowners keep calling us back.
The electricians at Crown Electric are deliberately well-rounded. Because we do new construction, remodels, service calls, and commercial work, our crews see every kind of job — not just one narrow slice of the trade. When we hire, we look for problem-solvers. As Nathan tells it: if your car broke down, would you pop the hood and look, or sit and wait for someone to bail you out? We hire the people who pop the hood.

Crown Electric is fully licensed, bonded, and insured through Washington State's Department of Labor & Industries (L&I). We stay current on NEC code, including Washington's 2023 adoption, and we pull the proper Clark County permits on every job that requires one.
